Hall of Fame

Dominic Varner (1991) made his mark at Jennings not only as a dominate hooper on the hardwood, but also an academic leader as he was named the Post Dispatch Scholar Athlete for Jennings Senior High School in 1991.  Along with the prestigious award of PD Scholar Athlete, Varner was named the Suburban East Conference Player of the year, 1st team All-Conference, 1st team All District, 2nd Team All State 3A, the Suburban Journal  “Athlete of the Year”, Co-Defensive Player of the Year, and 4th Team All-Metro.  After high school, Dominic Varner attended Austin Peay University.  17 years ago, Dominic Varner hooked back up with Kelly Thames to coach basketball at Trinity Catholic in St. Louis, and four years later he moved with Kelly to Pattonville high school in St. Louis where they both have coached the last 14 years together.
