Hall of Fame

Herman Harris came to Jennings in the 90s and initially taught social studies  and coached softball before becoming the department head and then a building assistant principal at the senior high.  Mr. Harris then moved over to be the building principal of the Jennings Educational Training Center (JETS) in 2013 and continued his amazing work until his retirement last year (2019).   The son in a military family, Mr. Harris moved about the country with his father being in the military.  Mr. Harris himself served in the armed forces before getting into education.  His work in Jennings is recognized as some of the most straight forward military like teaching and administrating that the district embraced.
