Hall of Fame

Mrs. Sherri Halk has been a member of the Jennings School District for 23 1/2 years.  She has served so many positions in our school district…from A.M custodian, library tech, Secretary, ISS instructor, Interventionist, Lead sponsor for the Stars and Heroes program, as well as an attendance officer.  Mrs. Halk has been a backbone for our high school who has always had a pulse on our student body.  Mrs. Halk has earned support staff member of the year in 2017-18 school year, the “Mother of the Year Award” from the “Top Ladies of Destinations” in 2013, along with the faculty homecoming Queen in 2014 and the Excellence in Leadership award in 2018.

Mrs. Halk has been the lead chaperone on so many wonderful trips our students have taken over her years while in the school district.  This is Mrs. Halk’s final year with the school district, yet make no mistake about it….she will be around from time to time.
