Warrior Basketball
The 2017-18 Warrior Basketball program went 28-4 on a season in which the won the Kirkwood Denver Miller tournament, 2nd place in the Pattonville tournament, and earned 3rd place in the Coaches vs Cancer tournament. After winning their district, the Warriors knocked off Liberty Wentzville in sectionals and Parkway Central in the quarterfinal to solidify their ticket to Springfield Missouri. The Warriors lost their 4th game of the season to Raytown South in State, but were able to defeat Sikeston the following day earning the Warriors a 3rd place spot in state.
The Warriors were coached by Jennings alum Travis Wallace (00′), Darian Head, Aaron Alexander, Mark Stovall and Danny Thomas.
The Warrior basketball student athletes were: Kyle Younge Jr., Terran Jackson, Latrell Jones, Jalen Carrawell, Jordan Brown, Elijah Hicks, Donell Carter, Donzell Carter, Vernell Sims, Ahmad Burks, Terrence Jeffries, Kevin Williams, Trey Love and Karl Moore.
With 28 wins on the season, this Jennings team goes down as the most winningest team in a season of any sport or club competition in the school’s history.
