Joe Johnson is a 1990 JSH Graduate who played football under Coach Hank Barrere. Joe went on to become a standout at the University of Louisville to a 1994 National Football League first round draft pick (13th) defensive end in the for the New Orleans Saints and eventually the Green Bay Packers. He was elected to the Pro Bowl during the 1998-1999, and 2000-2001 NFL seasons and named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2000.
